Black and White Village Trail

The Black & White Village Trail

When staying with us here at Luntley Court Farm Cottages, you will discover the Black and White Village Trail, a 40 mile circular tourist route that takes you through the lovely surrounding villages of Herefordshire that have become known for their quintessential timber framed black and white cottages and houses. The quantity and style of architecture is quite different from anywhere else and along the trail you will come across some perfect picture postcard scenes.

Some of the black and white buildings along the trail date back to the medieval times with many buildings from the 16th and 17th Century - More information about the buildings along the route can be found in leaflets from the tourist information office but if you just fancy a drive through some picturesque countryside and villages then from Pembridge you can follow the brown and white tourist signs for the Black & White trail.

Most Beautiful Villages in Herefordshire!

The 40 mile route will take you through some of the most beautiful villages in Herefordshire, through Dilwyn, Eardisley, Kingsland, Weobley, Wigmore, Yarpole, Lyonshall, Pembridge, Eardisland and Leominster.
