Happy New Year! 4 Nights at the “Hop Kiln” – A real home from home. Climbed Hay Bluff on a very blustery butdry day. Hay on Wye for books, Pembridge for a few pints, local walks and Hereford for some New Year Sales shopping. Ate too much, drank too much – just what we wanted! Many thanks to Sandra and David

Just had an excellent week at the Hop Kiln. Very mild weather for the end of October. Lovely place in a beautiful setting. Best bits – low ropes challenge at Oaker Wood Leisure ( 8 miles away – great challenge from 6 year olds to adult) cycling to Monkland Cheese Farm via Eardisland & mountain biking in the Forest of Deane – plus browsing the books at Hay on Wye.

Great place to stay. Barn is well equipped & very comfortable although some kids games and dvd’s would have been appreciated. Hereford nice place to visit. Hosts very friendly, kids had great time feeding and playing with the dogs. National Trust at Berrington Hall & Croft Castle worth visiting and Ludlow very nice town.

This was a fantastic venue for a group get together before and after Anna & Dan’s wedding. We loved the cottages, the rising flood waters and particularly the ability to have 18 people dine in the one cottage. The friendly, helpful nature of our hosts was wonderful.

Good Weather. The Shobdon Circular Walk, Kington ( and the pub just past the roundabout on the right). Fine food at The Stagg at Titley, large portions at the New Inn in Pembridge. What more can you want! Super.

Hen Weekend - A Fantastic long weekend made awesome by perfect accommodation. After the activity day at Oaker Wood Leisure ( Highly recommended) it was great to have a bbq in the garden and the downstairs area was large enough for all 9 of us to enjoy. The beds were amazingly comfy. Thank you for allowing me to give my sister a memorable Hen Party in such a beautiful scenery and accommodation.

We have enjoyed a fun packed week staying in HopKiln & Tippets View celebrating Dad's 70th Birthday. A perfect location and beautiful countryside which we have explored on local walks as well as venturing further afield to the Brecon Beacons, Eastnor Castle & Hay on Wye. The extra space in the paddock has been great & well used by the boys & the adults alike playing badminton and watching the combine harvester at work. Thumbs up for the super accommodation - we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you very much!
We have had the most perfect holiday with all our family & feel so lucky to have the very best children and grandchildren. Such a beautiful area, so peaceful & is the weather this good all the time? We would love to come again - so much to see. Our very grateful thanks to Sandra & David for their kindness. We've had a wonderful week.
