This years Hereford Photography Festival runs from 22nd Oct through to the 28th November and will be at different venues across Herefordshire.

h.Art Herefordshire Art Week will this year be held between the 11th & 19th September and is now in it's eighth year. It is a week dedicated to promoting the wide variety of artists and craftmakers working in Herefordshire.

If you are staying with us at Luntley Court Farm during the h.Art week then please support our county's artists and makers and have a look at some of the amazing craftsmanship and work  that is produced locally.

Two years ago the event had over 23,000 visitors and generated sales and commissions to artists valued at over £120,000.

h.Art Herefordshire art week is managed by Herefordshire Council's Arts Service and the h.Art Steering Group. The event is organised by a part-time, freelance co-ordinator

Kington Show will be held THE OVALS FARM, KINGTON, HEREFORDSHIRE, HR5 3LN on 11th September.

This would be a lovely family day out for anyone staying at Luntley Court Farm Cottages over the weekend of the 11th September.

Kington Show is a traditional agricultural show with Horse, Cattle, Sheep, Dog and Horticultural classes together with Young Farmers competitions, Shearing competitions and Farrier demonstrations. New Chairman Mr Dick Allford, "this year we have in place something for everyone, for all ages, from a Rodeo Bull and children's rides to demonstrations, competitions, even an after show dance, Kington Show is a social gathering, but more importantly a value day out for all the family to enjoy".

Just half an hours drive from Luntley Court Farm is the gastronomic town of Ludlow.

Now in its fifteenth year The Ludlow Food festival, based in and around Ludlow Castle, has now become internationally- renowned. The Festival runs from the 10th to the 12th September and is a must for anyone who enjoys "Real Food and Drink".

There can be no excuse for not visiting the annual Ludlow Marches Festival of Food and Drink in September. Massive marquees are erected inside the castle that plays host to more than a hundred hand-picked, small producers of traditional food and drink who offer their wares for tastings and for sale. They are all fairly local to Ludlow - the rules of the Food Festival, which is organised by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, mean that only producers who are based in the counties on either side of the Welsh border are eligible to trade in the tents.
