DIRECTIONS
(Maps below - look for the red circle)
From Leominster take the A44 to Rhayader
and, after passing Morrisons Supermarket on your left, it's important
after about 3½ miles to watch out for the right turn to keep you on the
A44 for Rhayader (straight on is the A4112
to Brecon!).
About 2½ miles after the turn you will arrive in the village
of Pembridge. Right in the centre of the village you will
see, on your left, a pub called The Red Lion and, next to it, another
called The New Inn.
Between the two pubs is a road to the left. Follow this
for about ¾ mile until you pass a crossroads where you continue straight
on. At that point the road turns into a single carriageway. Go past Dunkerton's
Cider Mill and, a mile after the crossroads, the lane turns sharply left
with a fork signposted 'Bearwood' to the right.
Take the right fork and you will see the sign for the cottages
on your right. |
